Our holiday house, "Netzboden" (literally translated fishing net storehouse), is situated
on the peninsula of Zudar, at the banks of the national preserved area of "Schoritzer Wiek".
The building, once a depository where local fisherman used to store their fishing nets
(hence the name), is our most recent creation: a bright and modern loft. From here, you
can explore the enchanting beauty of the Bodden by canoe, enjoy the sun in the spacious
garden, savour a succulent BBQ on the terrace overlooking the water, or simply watch the
island's few remaining fishermen bring in their catch. The peninsula of Zudar is one of
the island's most important resting places for geese and cranes in spring and autumn.
The loft is divided into four open zones - cooking, eating, living and bathing - each of
which has its own specific design. Furthermore, there are two separate bathrooms with
shower and WC, one large bedroom with double bed and travel cot, a children's room with two
single beds, and a sauna. The living area is equipped with a fire-place, satellite TV,
hi-fi with CD player and a small libray (German books). The kitchen is modern and very
well appointed.
The loft sleeps up to 4 adults and one small child. Sorry, no pets please! We'd like to
inform you that all our holiday homes on the Isle of Rügen are strictly non-smoking.
Warning: the loft is situated directly on the water! Greatest care must therefore be taken
with young children and those unable to swim!
